Specific Objectives:

The arrangement of the natural spaces, guaranteeing their preservation, interconnecting the networks of trails with other networks and services (natural spaces, recreational areas, heritage buildings, etc.), avoiding the damage of non-renewable natural resources.

The protection of the environment in the face of tourist expansion.

The integration of natural and cultural heritages and the economy supplied by tourism, generating social economy and diversifying the islands' productive and environmental structure.

The establishment of business culture, relating leisure in nature and preservation to services and industrial benefits.

The support to those businesses which belong to traditional sectors: food and agriculture, craft production, rural tourism, etc.

The spreading of the project and its objectives among local population, tourists and visitors, in order to make them aware, educating and training them, of the importance of preserving each region.

The establishment of training plans officially approved by Governments or Federations, with the purpose of creating new employment opportunities, organizing them, in order to obtain the best use and benefits for local population.

The development of structures that promote and manage accurately the individual and the common offer of the three regions.

Offering an alternative of healthy leisure to local population, tourists and visitors.

The promotion of a distinctive image of the participant regions, opposed to the near tourist macro centres.

The interchange of experiences dealing not only with development and structure of a network of trails, but also with the control of these activities and related aspects.
